Welcoming in 2018

Happy New Year!
Wishing you all a smooth start to 2018.  This year supports our efforts to achieve what needs to be done.  To help manifest, it’s helpful to have a logical & structured plan to accomplish your goal.  Set your intention, ask for support from like minded people & bring in your positive attitude.  The energy of this year has your back – Go get ’em!!!

Term 1 – Monday Feb 5th – Saturday April 14th

One of the Japanese Yoga philosophy’s is our outer body reflects what is going on internally. We find as our physical body begins to strengthen so to does the inner functioning of our organ systems.

We are made up of the same elements found in nature and through specific movements and breathing techniques we can strengthen weakness and release tension within our our elemental system.

It’s effective, fun and you’ll feel the difference after your first class.


What to expect during the 10 week term

February classes continue with heart opening/mind calming movements which release upper body tension and emotional issues that stop us from sleeping, give us poor posture and make us feel bad emotionally.  Summer is for joyful living, spending time connecting with loved ones and enjoying our days with laughter and openness.  – Nice huh?!

March classes move into Late Summer movements – aka digestive strength.  Our whole lives revolve around digesting – food, thoughts, ideas, people, situations & projects.  Our aim in yoga is to move into our centre, into our guts so we know instinctively what is appropriate action for ourselves.  Creating new healthy habits are important as we move through our days – we have one body to live in so lets make it strong, efficient and healthy.  Classes include suggestions on lifestyle changes you could make to accomodate healing in your life.

April classes see us approaching Autumn when we’ll be opening the chest / upper body again for the lungs; inspiring action and strength to let go of what we don’t need in our lives.  We aim for lightness in mind and body – releasing and clearing out effectively so our skin glows, our immune system is strong and our lower body is grounded and toned.
